What a website costs in Thailand, and what you are paying for

Quotes in Thailand run from a few thousand baht to six figures for the same three pages. The difference is almost never the design.

Pricing · 2026-08-19

A business website in Thailand costs from 2,500 baht a month at miraTEQ, or 2,000 baht a month on an annual plan. Domain, hosting, SSL certificate and PDPA setup are inside that price. There is no setup fee and no minimum term. What pushes a price above that is a second language, a booking system, a shop, or a photo shoot.

The numbers, before anyone talks design

  • 2,500 ฿ per month for the Business plan, domain and hosting included
  • 0 ฿ setup fee, and no minimum contract term
  • 11 years we have been building sites, first in Germany, now from Chiang Mai

Monthly price or one payment: the honest comparison

A one-off build looks cheaper on the invoice and usually is not. Someone still has to pay for the domain each year, the hosting each month, the SSL certificate, and the security updates. Those bills arrive whether or not anyone budgeted for them. A monthly price puts all of it in one line. The trade-off is real: over five years a monthly plan costs more than a single build that nobody ever touches again. We have never seen a site nobody ever touches again.

What actually raises the price

Four things, in the order they cost money. A second or third language, because every text is written twice and checked twice. A booking system, from 490 baht a month on top. Online ordering with payment, from 599 baht a month. And photography, because stock images of Thai food and Thai spas are recognisable and customers do notice. Page count is far down that list. Ten pages of the same kind cost barely more than five.

Where a cheap site gets expensive

Template platforms quote 300 to 900 baht a month and leave three costs with you. Nobody writes your texts. Nobody registers you with Google Business Profile, which carries 32 percent of the local ranking weight. And nobody writes the PDPA privacy notice, which every Thai website that collects a name or an email is required to have. A site that nobody can find is not a cheap website. It is an unused one.

What we would tell you if you were sitting across from us

If you run one location and offer fewer than ten services, do not buy a shop and do not buy a custom design. Take the Business plan, put real photos in it, and spend the money you saved on your Google Business Profile and on asking customers for reviews. Add the booking system the month you first turn away a call because nobody picked up. Not before.
