05 FAQ
Questions about the online shop.
Do you take a fee for each sale?
No. You pay the monthly fee, nothing per order. Stripe charges its usual fee for each card payment, taken from the payment before it reaches your account. We earn nothing from it.
Where does the money go?
Straight into your own Stripe account, the moment the customer pays. We never hold your money, and Stripe pays it out to your bank as usual.
Who writes the terms and the privacy policy?
The shop brings the order button, the cancellation policy based on the official EU model and the withdrawal button. Your terms and privacy policy come from you or your lawyer and go into the pages that are already there.
Can I ship to other countries?
Yes, from the Shop plan. You set shipping zones with a fixed cost and delivery days for each country, and customers see prices in their own currency. Shop Lite is for pick-up and delivery in your town.
Do I need a website from you?
Yes. The product pages are part of the website we build for you, so the shop looks like the rest of your site and Google finds every product. Together, website and shop cost less than both on their own.
How fast can we go live?
The shop goes live with your website, once Stripe has approved your account. With self-service you add the products yourself, with Shop Premium we add up to 100 for you. We agree the date in the first call.
What if I only want to show products, without selling?
Then the product catalogue for your website is enough: a one-off $119, your products with photos and prices, no checkout. When you want to sell, the shop takes over your products.
06 Quick definitions
Online shop terms, explained.
The words you meet when you start selling online, in plain language.
Checkout
The step where the customer enters the address, picks shipping and pays. In your shop it opens over your website, in your colours.
Variant
One version of a product, such as size M in blue. Each variant has its own price, item number and stock.
Shipping zone
A group of countries with the same shipping cost and delivery time, for example the EU or the rest of the world.
Withdrawal button
A button EU law requires since June 2026, so customers can cancel an online purchase as easily as they made it.
Product feed
A list of all your products with price and stock that Google reads, so they can appear in Google Shopping.
Stripe
The payment provider behind the checkout. It handles cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay and pays the money out to your bank.
